DILOR SKIN ATELIER
Your first facial, step by step
What to bring, what to ask and how a visit can unfold.

Bring your questions
You do not need to know your skin type or arrive with a treatment plan. A useful place to start is your everyday routine: what you use, how much time you have and what you would like to talk about. A photo of your current products can help you remember their names.
You might want a quiet hour, a closer look at your routine or simply to find out what a facial involves. Say so. These are all good starting points for a conversation.
Know what comes next
Before a treatment starts, ask which steps are included, how long the visit takes and what it costs. Each treatment page gives you an outline to compare. We discuss the details with you before your appointment.
Once you are comfortable on the treatment bed, the practitioner can explain the next step before beginning. Tell them if the room feels too warm, a position is uncomfortable or you would prefer a pause. You can ask questions at any point.
Leave with something useful
At the end, there should be time to revisit your questions. If you discuss care at home, ask for the suggested steps in plain language and write them down if that helps. You can take time to consider them. A first visit does not have to end with a new shelf of products.
