Time for a facial massage

Comfortable surroundings, gentle touch and space to say what feels right for you.

Settle in first

A facial massage can be a quiet part of a studio visit. Before it begins, take a moment to get comfortable. Check the position of your head, the room temperature and whether you would like a blanket. Small adjustments can make the time on the treatment bed more pleasant.

You can also say whether you prefer a quiet appointment or would like each step explained. There is no need to keep a conversation going if you would rather close your eyes.

Talk about the touch

Ask which areas the massage includes and what product will be used. Let the practitioner know if there are places you do not want touched. During the massage, you can ask for lighter pressure, a different position or a pause. Your preferences can change as you go.

At Dilor, a facial massage is a quiet pause during your visit. We discuss the areas to include and the pressure you prefer before we begin.

Give yourself a moment afterwards

When the massage ends, sit up at your own pace. If you have questions about the product used or a step you noticed, this is a good time to ask. You can also discuss whether you would prefer a shorter ritual or a longer facial next time.
